Once you move past a basic single pulley setup on the Audi 3.0T, you're asking a lot more from the factory cats — and honestly, they just can’t keep up. We’ve seen it time and time again: stock converters break down under the extra heat and pressure, and when they do, the risk isn’t just poor performance — it’s engine damage.

After seeing too many low-quality test pipes fail or turn cars into raspy, smelly messes, we decided to build something better. Something we’d actually run on our own cars — and trust over the long haul.


Why 400-Cell Metallic Cats? Because Balance Matters.

Everyone loves the sound of a performance exhaust — until the drone and fumes from cheap test pipes make your car feel like a straight-piped lawnmower. That’s why we chose 400-cell s-woven metallic catalysts — the same type trusted by top-tier names like GESI.

They strike the right balance: strong enough to hold up to repeated abuse, dense enough to smooth out noise and odor, and efficient enough to maintain flow and support serious power. Too many brands cut corners with 200- or 300-cell ceramic cores to boost profits, but that’s not how we work.

We sourced the highest-quality non-branded metallic cats we could find — not because they were cheap, but because they were the best-performing option we could offer without inflating the price.


Performance, Reliability, and Thoughtful Design

  • Full 2.5” flow path from top to bottom, with no tapering down to OEM size

  • Smooth transition to OEM-style lower flanges for easy fitment

  • Precision TIG-welded and back-purged for maximum strength

  • Double-walled pipe ends to resist cracking over time

  • Extra-thick 10mm stainless flanges, reinforced inside and out to prevent warping

  • Heat shielding included to control temps, reduce heat soak, and protect nearby components

  • 304L stainless steel construction (2.0mm wall thickness) throughout — built to last

We’re currently beta testing emissions compliance with a number of users — so far, everything is running clean. These converters are rated to withstand temps well beyond what the supercharged 3.0T can throw at them.
