Pushing your supercharged 3.0T beyond a single pulley setup seriously strains the factory catalytic converters, often leading to failure and even potential engine damage if not addressed properly.

After dealing with countless cheap, unreliable test pipes that didn’t hold up, we set out to create a long-lasting, high-quality solution. Unlike competitors, we used the highest quality 400 cell s-woven metallic substrate catalytic converters.  Why 400 cell? Noise and smell.  The largest complaint with test pipes is the noise they introduce. 

High-performance vehicles rely on 400-cell catalysts, such as GESI, as the industry standard for optimal efficiency and emissions compliance. However, manufacturers compromise quality by using lower-grade 200-cell or 300-cell ceramic catalysts to maximize profits. 

At Vorsprung Autowerk, we refused to make that sacrifice. Instead, we sourced a cost-effective alternative that delivers the same level of performance without compromising quality. These are the highest-quality, non-branded catalysts we could source, designed to withstand temperatures exceeding the maximum operating limits of the 3.0T platform. Emissions testing is underway with our beta users to ensure compliance and reliability. Additionally, we incorporated a layer of heat shielding to mitigate heat soak, safeguard critical engine components, and, most importantly, optimize exhaust velocity and flow. This ensures maximum performance while effectively directing heat dissipation out of the exhaust system where it belongs.

A 12-month, unlimited-launch warranty is provided against catalyst failure.
