Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a wiring harness? Yes — an 84mm VDO throttle body uses a different connector than your factory unit, so you'll need a harness adapter (we link to 034 and Jackal options above) in addition to this adapter plate.

Is the methanol port required to use? No — the integrated meth port is a convenience for WMI setups. If you're not running water/meth injection, it can simply be capped with the included 1/8" NPT plug.

Which throttle body should I use with this adapter? It's designed to mate an 84mm VDO throttle body — such as our own Luft-Strom — to your stock EA837 supercharger.
