Q7 4L vs 4M Fitment

The 4L Q7 uses the Gen 1 supercharged 3.0T. The 4M Q7 (2016 onward) uses the Gen 2 CREC engine, which changes several cooling, PCV and exhaust parts. Do Q7 parts fit the A6, A7 or S4?
Some do, since they share the supercharged 3.0T, but exhaust and mounts are often chassis specific. Always check the fitment table on the listing.

Do I need a tune after installing downpipes?
A tune that accounts for the exhaust change is strongly recommended.

How do I tell if my Q7 is a 4L or 4M?
The 4L is the first generation Q7 sold through the 2015 model year. The 4M is the second generation from 2016. Email us your VIN if you are not sure.
