The secondary air injection system on your 3.0T exists to help Audi pass an emissions test on day one, and that's about where its usefulness ends. The plastic pipe tucked behind the timing cover turns brittle with age and loves to snap the moment a wrench gets anywhere near it, which is a special kind of annoying when it turns a routine timing cover job into an all-day affair. Built for Wrenching, Not Just Deleting

This isn't a generic aluminum blank you have to modify to make fit. Each plate is machined specifically for the EA837 3.0T, so it drops in exactly where the factory SAI hardware used to live. With the pump, valves, and that fragile pipe gone, you also get real access to the PCV area, timing covers, oxygen sensor connectors, and the oil filter housing, the parts of this engine that are miserable to reach with the SAI system still bolted in place.

Billet Aluminum Plates & Stainless Hardware

Each plate is CNC-machined from billet aluminum and seals against the head with an included o-ring, torqued down with stainless steel cap screws (we recommend 9 Nm with blue threadlocker). Vacuum caps are included for the SAI solenoid ports, so there are no dangling vacuum lines left to cap off with a spare bolt and a prayer.

Built for Both Engine Generations

The EA837 changed its SAI plumbing partway through production, so this kit comes in two versions, Pre-CREC and CREC, to match your specific engine. Pick the version that matches your engine code and it bolts right in.
