The coolant crossover pipes running between the water pump and thermostat housing on the Gen2 supercharged 3.0T sit right in the heat of the valley, cycling hot and cold every drive for years. Audi's factory plastic pipes and couplers eventually give out there, and when they do, you're looking at a coolant leak in one of the least convenient places on the engine to chase down.

This kit gets you ahead of it: the genuine Audi upper and lower crossover pipes, a new coupler, and fresh gaskets, all in one order instead of piecing it together part number by part number.

Why do these crossover pipes fail?
They're factory plastic, sitting in one of the hottest, most heat-cycled corners of the engine. Over years of thermal cycling they go brittle at the seams and couplers, the same failure mode as most plastic cooling system components on this platform.

Is this a genuine Audi part or aftermarket?
These are genuine Audi parts (06E121045BE, 06E121045AN, 06E121030K), not aftermarket reproductions.

Does this include gaskets?
Yes, fresh gaskets are included for both pipes.

Will this fit my Gen1 supercharged S4 or S5?
No. This kit is for the CREC-code Gen2 supercharged 3.0T (A6/A7 C7.5, A8 D4, Q7 4M). The Gen1 B8/B8.5 platform uses a different part number family.

Should I replace anything else while I'm in there?
If you're already pulling the crossover pipes, it's a good time to check your thermostat and water pump for the same heat-cycle wear, and to inspect nearby hoses and clamps.
