PCV Pipe

The PCV pipe carries pressurized crankcase gasses from the PCV valve (air/oil separator) to the intake side of the engine, where they're burned off as part of normal combustion. It's a small part, but a critical one: when it hardens, cracks, or splits, the resulting vacuum leak throws off the engine's fuel trims and idle quality.
